This submission outlines Amnesty International’s concerns and recommendations regarding the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (the Convention) in Hong Kong, in advance of the Committee on the Rights of the Child’s (the Committee) adoption of the list of issues and subsequent review of Hong Kong. It aims to assist the Committee by highlighting ongoing children’s rights concerns in Hong Kong, while not seeking to provide an exhaustive assessment of all children’s rights issues.
